Our Mission
We envision a future where all young girls and women have access to and receive quality Maternal Care, Primary Health, and Well-care services. Barriers that prevent young girls and women from thriving, such as gender-based violence, poverty, and lack of access to education and healthcare, will be addressed. They will be provided with the tools, resources, and support they need to reach their full potential.

Our Founder
Dr. Nikia Phillips, DNP, FNP-C, CNM
Founded in 2019 by Dr. Phillips, 17 & Me was created from a deeply personal journey rooted in resilience, compassion, and the desire to help others overcome barriers to care and opportunity.
As a teen mother herself, Dr. Phillips experienced firsthand the challenges many young women face when navigating healthcare, emotional wellness, and support systems. Those experiences became the foundation for a mission dedicated to empowering underserved teen girls and women through advocacy, education, and community-centered care. Driven by her passion, she established 17 & Me in 2019 to provide support and guidance to women and young girls ages 13-19.
Today, 17 & Me continues to serve as a source of encouragement, support, and opportunity for women and families working toward healthier and brighter futures.

What We Provide
17 & Me is dedicated to empowering young women ages 13–19, along with women of all ages, by helping them build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, and develop healthy relationships in their personal, family, and professional lives.
Through mentorship, education, and supportive guidance, we encourage healthier lifestyles by promoting nutrition awareness, exercise, and stress management while also equipping women with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves, pursue personal growth, and create stronger paths toward self-determination and future success.

17 & Me is working toward an exciting future—developing a permanent community facility in Wellington that will expand access to maternal health services, education, mentorship, and wellness programs for women and families throughout Palm Beach County.
Designed to work alongside NP Family Practice & Midwifery Care, this future home will bring nonprofit support services and compassionate medical care together under one vision, creating a welcoming space where women and families can receive the resources, guidance, and care they need to thrive.
